Dufferin OPP have charged an Amaranth resident with impaired following a traffic stop.
On May 19th, shortly before 11:00 p.m., Officers were conducting traffic enforcement in the area of Broadway in Orangeville when they spotted a vehicle of concern. Officers conducted a traffic stop to assess the driver’s sobriety. As a result. a 35-year-old female from Amaranth has been charged with:
• Operation while impaired
• Driving a motor vehicle with open container of liquor
• Driving a vehicle with cannabis readily available
• Driving a motor vehicle without a currently validated permit
