The recipients of the 2025 Milton Youth Awards have been announced,
Each year, the Town of Milton holds these awards in partnership with the Milton Youth Task Force (MYTF). They recognize local students in Grades 7 to 12 for their contributions and positive impact on the community.
This year’s winners are:
- Youth Eco Activist of the Year (presented by Milton Hydro): Soumyaa Kansal
- Youth Mentor of the Year: Satyam Kukreja
- Youth Change Maker of the Year: Wareesha Khan
- Rising Leader of the Year: Alexis Trinh
- Youth Entrepreneur of the Year: Romel Trotman
- Youth Athlete of the Year: Sydney Teague
- Youth Supporter of the Year: Adam Malki
- Youth Artist of the Year: Jaxson Grant
- Youth Champion of the Year (presented by Mattamy Homes): Satyam Kukreja
“Heartfelt congratulations to this year’s Milton Youth Award recipients, whose dedication to the Milton community has sparked meaningful and positive change,” says Milton Mayor Gord Krantz. “It’s truly inspiring to see the youth of Milton thrive, and I wish our winners ongoing success in all their future endeavours.”
The awards are part of National Youth Week, which highlights and connects local youth through community events and celebrations.
