Dufferin OPP has charged a Pickering resident with impaired operation related offences as the result of a traffic stop for stunt driving.
On May 11th around 11:30 p.m., Dufferin OPP was conducting traffic enforcement in the area of Highway 89 and Highway 10 in Mono. Officers spotted a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and initiated a traffic stop. A 51-year-old male, from Pickering has been charged with:
• Operation while impaired
• Operate a motor vehicle without insurance
• Dangerous operation
• Stunt Driving
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville. Their driver’s licence was suspended, and their vehicle impounded.
