Dufferin OPP has charged an individual with ten weapon-related offences following a robbery investigation in Orangeville.
On April 27th shortly after 5:00 p.m., Dufferin OPP responded to a disturbance near Fourth Avenue in Orangeville. Police were informed that a male suspect had pointed a firearm at two individuals in the parking lot of a retail hardware store. The suspect fled the scene but was located shortly after in the area of Sherbourne Street, where he was arrested.
It was later determined that the firearms involved were replica weapons.
As a result of the investigation, a 16-year-old from male from Orangeville has been charged.
