The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is looking for an unknown woman after she stole items from a local grocery store.
On Saturday, January 11th, at roughly 3:00 p.m., a female suspect entered the Real Canadian Superstore at 171 Guelph Street in Georgetown.
The suspect made her way though the store, putting items into reusable bags and placing them in her shopping cart. She then attended one of the cashiers where she paid for some, but not all, of the items in her cart. Upon being confronted by security, she stated “we paid” and fled the scene.
The suspect is described by the HRPS as:
- Female
- heavy build
- dark hair
- wearing a long, dark coat
