Caledon OPP have laid charges in what began as a report of a collision that turned into a stolen vehicle investigation.
On February 5th, just before 6:00 a.m., Caledon OPP responded to a vehicle in the ditch on Heart Lake Road, near Charleston Sideroad, in Caledon. During the investigation, it was determined that the vehicle had previously been reported as stolen. The occupant was placed under arrest.
A 28 year old male of no fixed address, was charged with:
• Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
• Possession of break-in instruments
The accused was held for a Bail Hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville.
