The Milton Menace went into Oakville and extended their point streak.
It took place at the Sixteen Mile Sports Complex on Tuesday, December 10th. Marcus Tryfon found the back of the net first, scoring his 1st of the season, assisted by Marco Costante and Luke Johnston. The Menaced led the Blades 1-0 after one period of play.
In the second period, Justin Dezoete continued his hot start of his OJHL career, scoring his 1st of the year, assisted by Johnston and Madden MacDougall. About a minute later, Marco Costante buried his 6th goal, assisted by Nathan Catalano and Kyle Burton. Oakville got one back, but that was followed up by a goal from Ivan Fabjan. His 8th of the season got some help from Ashtyn Pacheco and MacDougall. Once again, the Blades made it close before the end of the frame, making it 4-2 after 40 minutes of action.
The third period saw almost no scoring, with Alexandr Siletskiy getting on the board in the final minute of the game. His dagger of a goal was assisted by Cole Semeniuk and Owen Kindree. The Menace beat the Blades 5-2, extending their point streak to 11 games in a row.
In net was Austin McKillop. He had a relatively light night, only stopping 18 of 20 shots, giving him an even .900% save percentage.
The Menace now return home for a game against the Georgetown Raiders on Friday, December 13th. Puck drop at the Milton Memorial Arena is set for 7:30 p.m. Buy your tickets for any/all home games here.
