A Milton road is about to get even more closed than before.
At this time, Lower Base Line is closed to local traffic between Regional Road 25 and Fourth Line. The Town of Milton says that more needs to be done, and so two full road closures are scheduled for this month. This means no through traffic will be permitted.
Starting Monday, November 11th, crews will be working to facilitate the emergency road works and slope stabilization repairs. Traffic will be restricted during these closures.
This will be happening roughly 500m east of Regional Road 25 to 1.2km west of Fourth Line along Lower Base Line.
Detour routes will be available through Regional Road 25, Britannia Road, and Fourth Line.
The work is expected to be done by Friday, December 20th, pending any unexpected issues.
