Starting October 1st, all hospice palliative care, grief support, and community services in Dufferin and Caledon will be provided by Bethell Hospice.
The transition from Hospice Dufferin to Bethell Hospice will begin this month, aiming to streamline access to care in the region.
This integration, in collaboration with Ontario Health, ensures a smooth transfer of current clients to Bethell Hospice, enhancing the delivery of palliative and community care services.
Sylvia Jones, MPP for Dufferin–Caledon, praised the move, highlighting Bethell Hospice’s commitment to providing dignified end-of-life care.
Both hospice boards are committed to maintaining high-quality care during this transition.
