Over $245,000 raised in support of the Foundation.
“We are truly humbled by the support received from our hikers, sponsors, donors, volunteers and student participants” said Kelly Stronach, Senior Manager, Bethell Hospice Foundation Marketing & Communications.
“The community has been incredibly supportive, and we are very appreciative.”
Twelve local Caledon public schools also chose to participate in the hike, as part of Peel District School Board’s Education Week.
Through the efforts of 5400 students, parents, and staff, the student hike raised an amazing $22,000.
Each year, Bethell Hospice Foundation must raise over $1,700,000 to keep the doors of Bethell Hospice open, and provide services at no cost to residents, program participants or their families.
Bethell Hospice is the only hospice residence serving Caledon, Brampton, and Dufferin County, and offers community programs throughout Caledon and Brampton.
