A new school is coming to the Town of Caledon.
The Ontario government announced a $32.5 million investment into the Peel District School Board for the new Mayfield West #2 Public School.
The new school will support the creation of 850 student spaces and 73 licensed child care spaces in Caledon.
“Our government is proud is support the Peel Dufferin School Board for the construction of a new public school in South Caledon,” said Sylvia Jones, MPP for Dufferin-Caledon.
“This investment demonstrates our government’s commitment to continue to build schools so children can learn close to home.”
Mayfield West #2 Public School will be located at a site to be acquired in Caledon.
