The Town of Milton is raising the Pride Flag on Friday, May 31st.
PRISM Halton will be at Town Hall for 11:00 a.m. as the flag is raised ahead of Pride Month in June.
Founder and Chair Melanie Tremills says they’re focused on their theme this year.
There will be several speakers this year. Everyone is invited to attend the flag raising. They’re hoping it’s the biggest one yet!
A Pride celebration will be held that night. It starts at 8:00 p.m. at Ivy Arms, located at 201 Main Street East.
pflag Halton is holding a Pride Festival on Saturday, June 1st at Hidden Valley Park in Burlington. It runs from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Along with the many Pride events being held throughout June, PRISM Halton will also hold the second annual Halton Pride Parade in Milton. It’ll go right down Milton’s Main Street on Sunday, July 14th.
