A private sector contractor hired by the Town of Orangeville will begin the reconstruction of Victoria Street and Ontario Street on June 3rd.
Reconstruction will include roadway, curbs, sidewalks, streetlighting, concrete curbs and gutters, and storm sewers.
Both streets will be closed to traffic for approximately 5 months.
Resident Impacts:
- Some driveway access may be interrupted throughout construction. On-site personnel will be present to coordinate.
- Surveys of the area have resulted in the identification of some trees that will be impacted by the reconstruction projects. Residents affected by this will be notified in advance of the work.
- Some delays may be experienced. Detour routes and construction signage will be erected.
Local and emergency traffic will be maintained at all times.
