An Oakville man is the latest local lottery winner!
Joseph Azimi won $100,000 through the ENCORE numbers in the February 14th LOTTO 6/49 draw.
The real estate broker and father of two says he has been playing the lottery for as long as he can remember. He managed to win after buying the ticket on a business trip.
“I was shocked and excited all the way home,” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his windfall.
Azimi decided to keep the news of his win a secret until the cheque was in his hand. He now plans to celebrate with his family and is planning a well-deserved vacation.
The winning ticket was purchased at the Avondale on Dominion Road in Ridgeway, near Fort Erie.
