The OPP have recently charged four individuals with numerous offences, after a weapons-related call in the area of Beech Grove Sideroad and Horseshoe Hill Road in Caledon.
On March 24th, at approximately 12:30 a.m., Officers received information that four masked individuals armed with firearms, were outside of a private residence.
Officers attended the location promptly and took four suspects into custody without incident or injury.
Investigators identified the suspects as two 18-year-olds and two 16-year-olds from Brampton.
All four suspects have been charged will the following:
· Disguise with intent
· Carrying concealed weapon
· Imitation firearm – use while committing offence
· Break, enter a place – commit indictable offence
· Possession of imitation weapon for dangerous purpose
The accused parties are set to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville at a later date to answer to the charges.
The Caledon OPP considers this an isolated incident and there is no threat to public safety.
