Dufferin OPP responded to a collision yesterday afternoon on County Rd 9 in Melancthon involving a minivan and a horse and buggy.
The 8 passengers in the buggy were transported to the hospital by ambulance with unknown injuries.
Two horses escaped after the collision and are now safe in a local farmer’s barn.
County Road 9 was closed for several hours, but has since re-opened.
