7 of the 10 Canadian buggiest cities are in Ontario.
Toronto has taken top honour in that category for the last seven years.
These tiny pests are extremely resilient and can hitchhike from place to place unnoticed.
The bugs hang onto clothing, luggage and furniture to invade new spaces.
Signs of bed bugs include small reddish-black spots on bedding or mattress.
If there is a large number of them, they give off a sweet but unpleasant smell.
