This Friday, March 8th is International Women’s Day.
Through out the week, we’ll be chatting with local women in our community about what International Women’s Day means to them.
Today, we spoke with Family Transition Place Executive Director, Norah Kennedy.
Norah recently announced her retirement scheduled for later this year, after nearly 17 years with the organization.
Serena Ryder will join Family Transition Place for a fundraising luncheon in celebration of International Women’s Day.
Taking place at Hockley Valley Resort on Friday, March 8th – The event provides a networking opportunity, connecting with friends and celebrating the accomplishments of women, all while supporting FTP.
In addition to an opportunity to get to know her, Serena will also treat the audience by performing one of her songs.
Ahead of the event, Serena will join Nick on the Get Up & Go Morning Show to chat about all things International Women’s Day.
