Police are investigating a fatal snowmobile collision in Georgian Bay Township that claimed the life of an Erin resident over the weekend.
Southern Georgian Bay OPP were alerted to the scene on a waterway known as the Lost Channel overnight Saturday, February 17th.
Two snowmobilers were involved.
Following a three and half hour land based rescue, a 52 year old male from Erin, was pronounced deceased.
A 50 year old male from Puslinch, was located near the crash scene and found to be uninjured.
The Technical Traffic Unit is the continuing their investigation into cause of the crash.
