The Milton Menace are getting ready for a pair of games this weekend.
On Friday, December 1st, the Menace will kick the month off with a game against the Burlington Cougars. In their last match-up, the Menace beat the Cougars 4-3.
Milton is sitting in second place in the OJHL West Conference, ten points behind the first place Collingwood Blues. With a 19-5-2-0 record, the Menace have 40 points on the regular season. They’ve been led by their captain, Connor Driscoll. In 22 games, Driscoll has scored 11 goals and 23 assists. Starting goaltender Glen Crandall has a 14-5-1-0 record over 20 games, with a .908% save percentage.
As for the Cougars, they’re having a harder time this season. Across 28 games, they have an 11-11-0-6 record and sit seventh in West Conference with 28 points. Their top scorer this year is Justin Legault, who has 14 goals and 16 assists in 26 games.
Fun fact: If the playoffs started at the time of writing, the Cougars would face the Menace in the first round.

The game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Friday, December 1st at the Burlington Central Arena.
The Menace then return home on Sunday, December 3rd with a game against the juggernaut Collingwood Blues.
As noted, the Blues are the best team in the West Conference, as well as the entire Ontario Junior Hockey League. They’ve 25 of 28 games this season, and sit atop the league with 50 points. They’re the 3rd best team in all of Canada in the latest weekly rankings, with Milton listed at 8th.
In the last game between these two teams, the Blues shut out (and obliterated) the Menace, 10-0. Collingwood is also the team that knocked the Menace out of the playoffs last season, sweeping them in the second round, 3-0.
