The Town of Grand Valley announced the construction of a multi-purpose outdoor recreation facility in Spring 2024.
The project will provide a space for people of all ages to play, skate and exercise, while serving as a new community gathering hub.
Recreation opportunities include a Basketball/Pickleball/Ball Hockey court in summer that also serves as an outdoor skating rink in winter.
The Town does not currently offer any such outdoor facilities.
The space will be built on Town-owned land, on the Community Centre grounds next to the existing skateboard park.
