Caledon OPP have laid charges in relation to a Fail to Remain collision on Highway 10 near Highpoint Side Road last week.
On October 18th shortly after 12:00 a.m., Officers and emergency crews arrived on scene and located one vehicle.
The driver, who was also the complainant, reported that another vehicle was involved but did not remain.
During the course of the investigation,
the officer formed grounds that the remaining driver’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
As a result, a 42-year-old male of Shelburne, was charged with:
• Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
Their driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle impounded for seven.
