A single vehicle collision turned fatal for one man in Oakville on Friday morning.
On Friday, June 16th, just before 8:41 a.m., a pick-up truck driving westbound on Dundas Street East left the roadway on the north side of Dundas, just east of Trafalgar Road. The vehicle struck a streetlight and fire hydrant before coming to a rest on the grass at the corner of that Dundas and Trafalgar. No other vehicles were struck.
The 39-year-old driver was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. His cause of death is under investigation.
