A Burlington man is $100,000 richer!
Michael Madole matched the last six of seven ENCORE numbers in exact order in the April 8th LOTTO 6/49 draw.
The father of two says his wife always makes sure he adds ENCORE.
“It’s because of her we won,” he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. “I was going through my emails one morning and noticed an email from OLG that looked a little different. It said I won $100,000 and I couldn’t believe it. I had to log into my computer to see if it was real. My wife was so amazed and excited.”
The 47-year-old plans to pay some bills and take his family on a trip to New York City.
“I raise money for Sick Kids during Christmas by decorating our home so this year I will go all out.”
He adds that he’s a little overwhelmed but very happy.
