A popular Milton restaurant is shutting its doors!
Halifax Original Donair at 295 Main Street East has been in business for 15-years, with the owners in the industry for more than 40-years. It was announced this week that the restaurant will be closing as the owners have decided to retire.
In a Facebook post, they said:
“Halifax Donair has been an amazing ride for us and the family, but though it might never feel like the right time, it is now that time for us!”
They add that top help with the transition, they will be limiting delivery to only Halton, Peel and Hamilton. No other areas will be available. Pre-delivery orders will be fulfilled. For other retailers with their products, they will be stocked for a limited time until they are sold out.
They welcome all residents to come to the restaurant to say goodbye and enjoy the food one last time.
If you’re interested in continuing this popular local business, they ask you to contact Jim at 905-878-0406.
No official closing date has been set, but it will be in the coming months.
Congrats to the Halifax Donair family, and we hope you enjoy retirement!
