Police are investigating the discovery of a body on Wednesday morning along the Irvine River in the Elora Gorge.
Wellington County OPP responded to a call regarding an injured person lying near the water off David Street in Elora.
Police say a 70-year-old Elora resident was discovered at the site but pronounced deceased.
OPP are now investigating with the assistance of the Office of the Chief Coroner.
Police ask anyone with information to contact them.
