Police are advising residents not to be taken in by someone posing as a person in distress.
Caledon OPP say a would-be-good-Samaritan was robbed after they were flagged down by motorist who appeared to have broken down and was stranded.
It happened on Olde Base Line Road between Kennedy and Highway 10.
When the victim stopped they were approached by two males with knives… then robbed of their vehicle. ( 2018 blue Audi S5L sedan)
Police say instead of stopping, motorists can contact the OPP by dialing *OPP (*677) on their cell phones to report the vehicle.
The suspects are described as:
1. Medium Complexion male, slender build, approximately 5’10” tall, wearing all black
2. Dark Complexion male, medium build, approximately 6′ tall, wearing all black
3. Dark Complexion male, medium build, approximately 6′ tall, wearing all black
The getaway vehicle was an older model black Honda Civic.
