The Halton Region has shifted to COVID-19 updates once a week.
The latest COVID-19 stats from the Halton Region show seven additional deaths in the totals. Three of the deaths were Burlington residents, giving the city 175 deaths total. Two more deaths were attributed to Oakville, giving the town 129 deaths total. The other two were Milton residents, putting our town at 77 total deaths. Halton Hills remains at 72 deaths total. Halton is now at 453 deaths total from COVID-19.
Across Halton, there are 144 new cases. The total number of cases is up to 56,326. There have been 1,614 total hospitalizations in Halton and 453 deaths.
In Milton, we had 25 new cases. That brings us to 14,646 total cases. There have been 362 total hospitalizations in Milton and 77 deaths.
There are currently zero outbreaks reported in Milton.
Looking at vaccination numbers, a total of 1,506,966 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Halton. 1,344,335 of the doses were to Halton residents.

- 5,303 total doses have been administered to people aged <5;
- 74,607 total doses have been administered to people aged 5-11;
