Milton is being called one of the best “small cities” in all of Canada!
While our community is technically classified as a town, Resonance Consultancy made a list of the top 25 small cities in the entire country, so that’s on them for the terminology.
Believe it or not, ten municipalities in Ontario made it onto the list, and the top ten is littered with our friends and neighbours. Kingston ranked third, Niagara Falls ranked fourth, Waterloo came in at five, Burlington at seven, and Guelph at eight. Milton made the list at #11.
On why Milton made the list, the report says, “the safest small city in Canada is also one of the fastest growing. Must be all those outdoor pursuits so close to Toronto.”
Other Ontario locations that made the list include Barrie at 17, Thunder Bay at 21, Aurora at 24, and St. Catherines at 25.
