The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) says a motorcyclist has died following a collision in Milton.
The crash happened on May 8th at 3:15 p.m at the intersection of Derry Road and James Snow Parkway in Milton. A motorcycle was travelling eastbound on Derry Road when it struck a Hyundai Tucson within the intersection.
The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. The Halton Police will not release the motorcyclist’s age and city of residence at this time, pending notification of next of kin.
The two occupants of the Hyundai, a 79 year old Milton woman and an 86 year old Milton man, were transported to Milton District Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause and circumstances surrounding the collision are presently under investigation. Any citizen who was in the area at the time of the collision with dashboard camera footage is requested to call the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 905-825-4747 ext. 5065.
