We have the Grand Prize winner of the Milton Chamber of Commerce #EatLocalMilton contest.
Rob Hewlett won $1000 to the Lunchbox Cafe here in Milton. He says it’s been a good day in the Hewlett household.
He plans on spreading the wealth when it comes to the gift certificates. He’s already contacted Cheryl Miller of the cafe to find ways to donate portions to residents in need here in town.
Hewlett says him and his wife are always supporting local when they can.
With the #EatLocalMilton contest, Hewlett decided to download a wheel spinning app onto his phone. That way, he could insert 10-15 local restaurants into the app and let the wheel decide where to get food from.
This isn’t Hewlett’s first big win for the contest. In the first iteration done by the Milton Chamber of Commerce, he ended up winning $500 to Troy’s Diner.
We look forward to hopefully taking part in another contest like this in the future!
