The Dufferin County Community Grants Program has officially launched for 2022.
Since its inception in 2018, The Community Grants Program encourages local not for profit or charitable organizations to complete a project or provide programming that benefits the residents of Dufferin County.
The strategic priorities for 2022 in Dufferin County are as follows:
Climate Action
Cultural Enhancement
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Initiatives
Economic Development
Youth and Seniors Services

Those interested in applying for the grants, will need the following information to complete the application:
Food for Thought grants up to $3,000 or Community Grant under $1,000
- Organization name and contact information
- Not for profit or charitable organizations registration number, if applicable
- Letter of support from registered not for profit/charity partner, if applicable (you will be asked to upload an attachment – one document only)
- Mission/vision statement of organization
- Project/program purpose & objectives outline
- How the project/program will benefit the Dufferin community
- Implementation plan/allocation of funds
Community Grants above $1,000
- Organization name and contact information
- Not for profit or charitable organizations registration number
- Letter of support from registered not for profit/charity partner, if applicable (you will be asked to upload an attachment – one document only)
- Mission/vision statement of organization
- Project/program purpose & objectives outline
- How the project/program addresses one of Dufferin County’s strategic priorities
- How the project/program will benefit the Dufferin community
- Direct impact of the funding on the project/program
- Any planned additional fundraising activities to support the project/program
- Brief summary of accomplishments of project/program or organization
- Financial statements (balance sheet and income statement) (you will be asked to upload an attachment – one document only)
- Budget breakdown (you will be asked to upload an attachment – only document only. You can use the provided template or create your own)
