The Town of Caledon has issued a Winter Parking Ban, as well as a significant weather warning this morning.
The purpose of the Winter Parking Ban, is to keep roads free of parked vehicles so tow crews can quickly and safely clear snow.
A Winter Parking Ban is issued when the weather forecast calls for a snowfall of 7 centimeters or more.
Those who park their vehicles on the road during the Winter Parking Ban, are responsible for ticket or towing charges.
The Town of Orangeville winter parking regulations go into effect this Wednesday, until March 31st.
Parking on municipal streets is prohibited from 2 a.m. – 7 a.m.
Overnight parking is only permitted at Rotary Park and Fendley Park.
The overnight parking rules will be in effect until March 31st, snow or no snow.
