The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) says it has identified the suspect responsible for the sexual assault of a child that took place at Raspberry Park on October 2nd.
The suspect is a youth. The HRPS says the youth has been dealt with in accordance to the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
To add to that, on October 15th, the HRPS put out a call to identify three potential witnesses. All three witnesses have been identified as youths. At the request of the Halton Police, all descriptors and photos of the witnesses have been removed from this article and our social media pages.
The investigation has been closed.
UPDATE (OCTOBER 15th)
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has released some more information regarding a sexual assault at a Milton park.
Three potential witnesses have been picked up on footage within the area at the time of the reported assault. The potential witnesses appear to be between the ages of 13 and 17.
The three potential witnesses were observed together and believed to be known to one another. Investigators would be interested in speaking with all of these persons.

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) is investigating the sexual assault of a child at a Milton Park.
The report says that on Saturday, October 2nd, at approximately 6:30 p.m., a young female child was playing at Raspberry Park, located on Raspberry Terrace in the south-end of Milton. While playing in the park, an older male child/youth touched her in a sexual manner.
The suspect and victim were not known to one another.
No descriptors were provided due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the older male child/youth and would ask anyone with video footage of the area, who witnessed the assault or was at or near the park at that time to contact D/Cst.
