
The Rainbow Crosswalk at Mill Street and Broadway, has been vandalized for the second time this week.
Suspect(s) also spray painted homophobic graffiti behind the library in the area.
The first incident took place on June 15th, between the hours of 8:45 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. The second incident happened last evening.
The crosswalk was painted in an effort to support Pride Month, which provides the opportunity to celebrate and express commitment to inclusion and diversity, in particular on behalf of the LGBTQ+ community.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Dufferin OPP Detachment.
Businesses and residents in the area are also being asked to check their security cameras for any suspicious activity.
