An Erin woman was recently charged after allegedly walking away from a car crash.
On Saturday night (Apr. 24), Caledon OPP responded to a two vehicle collision in the Mayfield and McLaughlin roads area.
Police learned that a witness to a two-vehicle collision saw one of the drivers walking away from the scene of the crash.
The driver was found a distance away and allegedly showed signs of impairment.
29-year-old Claire Richards-Irwin was charged with operation of a motor vehicle while impaired, failure to stop after an accident and operation while impaired with a blood alcohol level over 80 mgs.
