Westside and Orangeville District Secondary School are welcoming a group of Japanese high school students this month, and they’re in need of host families.
MLI (Muskoka Language International) Homestay, who organized the stay, says the students will be arriving to Orangeville after completing their 14-day quarantine and after getting back 3 negative COVID test results.
Students will follow all protocols of the Quarantine Act in addition to the specific rules for International Students who are arriving from overseas as unaccompanied minors.
Host families are paid an honorarium of $875 per month for hosting a student.
