The province has approved additional beds at Avalon Care Centre in Orangeville.
23 more beds will be added to the facility’s current 137 beds bringing the total to 160 beds.
Jarlette Health Services, who owns Avalon, will finance the project.
Dufferin-Caledon MPP, Sylvia Jones says, “The Avalon Care Centre has a long and proud history in Dufferin and they have been working on this redevelopment for more than 3 years.”
