A man was recently scolded by Dufferin OPP after police received reports that he made three young women uncomfortable in public.
Constable Shannon Gordanier says these exchanges weren’t threatening however his comments were unsettling for the young women.
Gordanier says he was cautioned that if he continues with the behaviour, it may lead to criminal charges and at this point, there isn’t a threat to public safety.
She advises everyone to be mindful of their surroundings while out in public and to continue walking away if approached by a vehicle.
