The Ontario SPCA Orangeville & District Animal Shelter received tons of support thanks to some help.
A third party program organized by Barb McCreath and Cynthia Rayburn, received empty bottles from the community including from many local restaurants, while The Beer Store collected all the skids of empties once a week, and the net proceeds were given to the Animal Centre.
And now the local animal shelter says the bottle drive results were almost overwhelming as there’s been $11,550.00 in bottle returns income.
Orangeville Salt & Soil Supply 540 C Line provided space for the empties to be dropped off while many volunteers sorted the donations.
The funds are going to the OSPCA to continue taking care of vulnerable and neglected animals.
