An Orangeville dad is $50,000 richer.
48-year-old Kirk Ridgwell’s Daily Keno 9 pick won him the bundle of cash in the March 28th midday draw.
The press operator discovered his win when he stopped for a coffee break during an overtime shift.
Ridgwell was about to leave the retailer when something stopped him on his way out and he decided to buy a Daily Keno ticket.
A few days later, he checked his ticket using the OLG Lottery app and saw the ‘Big Winner’ message, thinking it was a mistake.
The father of four plans to help his daughters out with tuition fees, as well as build a pool at home, pay some bills and maybe take a vacation.
