A GoFundMe page dedicated to raising funds for a Caledon woman and her three daughters’ family that began yesterday, has already generated over $100,000.
At around noon on Thursday (June 18), an officer observed an Infiniti travelling at a high rate of speed going westbound along Countryside Drive.
A short distance later, the Infiniti entered the intersection at Torbram Road and collided with a van containing the woman and her children, a six-year-old, a four-year-old, and a one-year-old.
The six-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
The mother and her four-year-old daughter were rushed to Brampton Civic Hospital where they later died.
The one-year-old was also transported to hospital, but was later transferred to the Hospital for Sick Children, where she died of her injuries.
The driver of the Infiniti, a 20-year-old man, was transported to hospital where he remains in critical condition.
