Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health is reporting a total of 158 COVID-19 cases in Dufferin County alone, including 6 newly confirmed cases within the past 24 hour window.
Wellington County stands with the lowest caseload in the region at 60, while Guelph is also below Dufferin at 136 cases.
To date, the region has had a total of 361 cases with 214 considered resolved and 33 deaths, 23 of which were in Dufferin County.
Healthcare workers from Headwaters Health Care Centre are no longer working at Shelburne Residence.
27 staff had volunteered to be re-deployed to aid the long term care home in their battle with the COVID-19 outbreak.
Four of those workers had tested positive for the virus, and are now recovering at home.
