Three more residents at Shelburne Residence have died since Friday, bringing the facility’s death toll to 15.
A total of 55 residents and 17 staff members tested positive for COVID-19.
At Dufferin Oaks Long Term Care Home, the death toll remains the same at 2 residents and there’s been a total of 4 cases among residents and 6 cases among staff members.
Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health spokesperson, Chuck Ferguson recently told myFM News that Headwaters Health Care Centre staff have been deployed to help at Shelburne Residence.
As of Monday morning (May. 4), Public Health is reporting a total of 308 COVID-19 cases within the region — 51 in Wellington County, 134 in Dufferin and 114 in Guelph.
