Canadian Blood Services is cancelling its large Orangeville blood donor clinic scheduled for March 30th.
Territory manager, Elaine St. Pierre explains additional COVID-19 curbing requirements were needed, which the venue wasn’t able to accomodate.
St. Pierre says those 200 individuals who signed up for the Orangeville clinic will be called back and encouraged to honour their appointments at Guelph or Mississauga clinics.
She reminds residents that it’s safe and vital to continue donating blood through the COVID-19 pandemic.
