Widespread coronavirus concerns are forcing local programs and organizations to close indefinitely.
The most impactful closure is happening at Ontario’s public schools, which will reopen on April 5th.
The other provincial closure is at the Ontario Superior court house.
The Ontario Superior Court of Justice has suspended jury selection for future trials for now and jury panels are being asked to not attend court.

Municipal Closures
Orangeville
-Recreation centres (until Apr. 6th)

Shelburne
-Town Hall (until further notice)
-Shelburne Police Service (closed to non-emergent visits)
-Shelburne Fire Hall (closed to public)
-Council and Committee meetings, public consultations and presentations (until Apr. 20 or until further notice)
-Shelburne Public Library
-Centre Dufferin Recreation Complex (until further notice)
Mono
-Council and Committee meetings, public consultations and public gatherings (until Apr. 6)
-Monora Park Pavillion and Mono Centre Community Centre
Community Programs, Services, Events and Facility Closures and Cancellations
-Museum of Dufferin
-Canadian Cadet Organization cancels Community Coordinating Committee meeting on March 23rd
-Credit Valley Conservation has cancelled the 2020 Sugarbush Maple Syrup Festival.
-Alton Mill Arts Centre (until further notice)
-Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dufferin & District cancels Bowl for Kids Sake
-Orangeville Farmers Market (on March 21 and April 4)
-Dufferin Board of Trade cancels all upcoming events
-Family Transition Place (not allowing non-essential visits; walk-in and drop-in services and groups are cancelled too)
Educational Institutions
Georgian and Humber colleges are suspending classes from March 16th to March 20th, and after March 23rd, classes will be delivered remotely.
Local sports
Athlete Institute Football Club Academy has temporarily shut down all soccer events including practices and games.
Ontario Minor Hockey Association is suspending upcoming play until further notice, thus Orangeville Flyers games will be impacted.
Orangeville Northmen is cancelling U11 Girls Lax Session on March 13. Upcoming lacrosse sessions on March 27 and April 3 are cancelled due to community use of schools being shut down on those dates.
Twisters Gymnastics and Trampoline Club is suspending programs from March 14th to April 5th.
