A close call on Highway 10 near Orangeville on Thursday afternoon (Nov. 14).
Dufferin OPP Constable Shannon Gordanier says it happened just after the lunch hour, so traffic wasn’t heavy, but some vehicles had to steer clear from the loose wheel.
She says both the transport truck driver and their employer were charged with four provincial offences including operating an unsafe vehicle and carrying an insecure load.
