Mono council has asked for changes to the Island Lake Family Park and Fieldstone Parkette draft site plans.
Earlier this year, staff was asked to prepare a cost estimate and site plan for the park at Island Lake that included an accessible pathway, tennis courts, a picnic shelter, among other things.
Council has asked for some changes, which include converting the path from a loop to a single path, eliminating the fitness equipment, locating the tennis courts to the northwest part of the park and constructing a parking lot in this area.
It will also consider removing the volleyball court and replacing it with a multi-use pad.
Over in the Fieldstone subdivision, a parkette was proposed near the gazebo on Benson Avenue.
But council wants staff to look into other areas, near French Drive and 1st Line EHS and the north end of Meek Avenue.
Council will review a revised site plan in August.
