Barb Shaughnessy confirms she has been approved to run in the second nomination for the Conservative Party in Dufferin-Caledon.
Shaughnessy finished third in votes in the first nomination.
That first nomination was scrapped after Harzadan Singh Khattra was removed as the winner, following an appeal by Shaughnessy.
In an email to supporters on Friday, Shaughnessy says there is word the nomination meeting will be held on Wednesday July 31.
myFM News has not been able to confirm that.
Former Conservative MP Kyle Seeback and former Orangeville mayor Jeremy Williams are also seeking the nomination. There has been no confirmation if either has been approved to run by the party.
